Rick began his career in wealth management in 1997 working with high net-worth individuals. He currently specializes in coordinating wealth planning, estate planning and tax planning services for high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to this Rick was the Director of Development for Young Life, a non-profit organization that helps “at-risk” youth. In this position, he advised high net-worth individuals on highly sensitive tax issues and implementation of family estate plans. With a team at Young Life, Rick assisted in raising millions of dollars for at-risk and disabled kids throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Previously, Rick worked for 15 years in Silicon Valley as a Manufacturer Representative for Seiko Epson Corporation. His involvement was in high-tech sales, negotiating and managing multi-million dollar custom semiconductor contracts for the graphics and disc drive markets with companies such as S-3, Adaptec, Western Digital, Faraday, and Paradise Systems.
Rick was born in San Francisco and grew up in Atherton, California. He is one of twelve children and has an identical twin. He has been married for over 33 years to his wife Lynne and has five sons between the ages 18 and 28 years old.
Rick’s passions are family, faith, and helping inter-city at-risk kids through involvement with Young Life. In his spare time Rick loves to snow and water ski.
Rick is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in California, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Business.
